At Travellers Peace Ladakh, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds.
1. Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving an advance payment.
- The remaining balance must be paid before the trip begins unless otherwise agreed.
2. Cancellation by Customer
If you cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:
- 30 days or more before trip start date: 80% refund
- 15–30 days before trip: 50% refund
- 7–14 days before trip: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days before trip: No refund
3. No Refund Situations
No refund will be provided in the following cases:
- No-show (not arriving for the trip)
- Leaving the trip midway
- Unused services (hotels, meals, transport, etc.)
- Last-minute cancellations due to personal reasons
4. Cancellation by Travellers Peace Ladakh
In case we cancel the trip due to:
- Extreme weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Safety concerns
You will be offered:
- Alternative trip dates OR
- Credit note for future use OR
- Partial/full refund (depending on situation)
5. Refund Processing Time
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days
- The amount will be credited via the original payment method
6. Force Majeure
No refunds will be provided for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Landslides / road blockages
- Political unrest
- Pandemics
However, we will try to provide the best possible alternative solutions.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance to cover:
- Trip cancellations
- Medical emergencies
- Loss of belongings
