At Travellers Peace Ladakh, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds.


1. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after receiving an advance payment.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the trip begins unless otherwise agreed.

2. Cancellation by Customer

If you cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:

  • 30 days or more before trip start date: 80% refund
  • 15–30 days before trip: 50% refund
  • 7–14 days before trip: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before trip: No refund

3. No Refund Situations

No refund will be provided in the following cases:

  • No-show (not arriving for the trip)
  • Leaving the trip midway
  • Unused services (hotels, meals, transport, etc.)
  • Last-minute cancellations due to personal reasons

4. Cancellation by Travellers Peace Ladakh

In case we cancel the trip due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns

You will be offered:

  • Alternative trip dates OR
  • Credit note for future use OR
  • Partial/full refund (depending on situation)

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days
  • The amount will be credited via the original payment method

6. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Landslides / road blockages
  • Political unrest
  • Pandemics

However, we will try to provide the best possible alternative solutions.


7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance to cover:

  • Trip cancellations
  • Medical emergencies
  • Loss of belongings
